Surendranath Dasgupta (1887–1952) was an Indian philosopher and historian of philosophy, known for his monumental work “A History of Indian Philosophy.” Born in Kushtia, Bengal (now in Bangladesh), Dasgupta’s scholarly contributions played a crucial role in introducing Indian philosophy to a global audience.
